And that’s a wrap! End of chapter, folks. If you want to recap from the start of the chapter, it started with this comic here.

The guest week is next week and it’s looking AMAZING even with just what I have at the moment, and I’m expecting a few more! Remember, sunday evening is the YOU ARE WONDERFUL deadline, monday is the YOU’RE QUITE WONDERFUL BUT NOT AS WONDERFUL AS THE SUNDAY PEOPLE deadline.

I hope you have GREAT WEEKEND. I personally will be off to Cambridge today because my clever clogs brother got a 2:1 in his degree and is graduating tomorrow. Then there’s the Danson festival on the sunday (google it. ‘Tis a local thing, unless you, like me, live down in the south east outskirts of London it is MORE than understandable that you probably have never heard of it) So yeah. And then I’ll be spending the guest week working on the secritprojekt comic and starting on chapter 5 (I know what happens but it helps me if I know what day I’m drawing it on) (and I can start drawing it and maybe get that buffer going again.

Heeeey! Comic 101. That bit more impressive than 100 because in the right font, IT’S SYMMETRICAL. OH YEAH.

Penultimate comic of the chapter! I’m really looking forward to tying up a few plot lines properly next chapter and kind of introducing more. In a way 4 and 5 are like a two parter episode of a TV series, and I’ve had someone describe it as a soap, so there ya go.

Guest submissions: Ideal deadline is sunday evening, you have got monday as well (If you’re SUPER SPECIAL AND LOVELY TO ME you might have another day or so but LET ME KNOW so I can plan out what goes out on what day.)

Oh and I did some sketches between shifts at work at the weekend if you so if you missed that it’s over on the tumblr (I recommend clicking for big where it says to click for big)

Anyone would think I’d PLANNED for this to be the 100th comic, wouldn’t they? as it is, pure coincidence. Oh and it’s the 100th comic. Which is pretty cool, but hey, there are many more to come!

If there are any of you who’ve been thinking ‘There have been more than 100′ I’m not counting guest strips or what I think of as ‘non comics’ i.e. the things I do between chapters (fake social networking, last time it was the character profiles, it adds up guys). But yes. 100 comics, and on the 9th of August, the comic will be a week old.

Also, people working on guest submissions: DON’T WORRY YOU DO HAVE ANOTHER WEEK. The chapter finishes on the 102nd comic, like I’ve said, and there’s no point having a break that close to the end of the chapter.

I probably ought to say some actual thoughts but I got home from a double shift an hour ago and I did my brain vomit to a friend so I have nothing left for this blog bit. I will point you in the direction of the things I need to paint new side buttons for:

And there is a flickr too but hey most of that stuff gets crossposted to tumblr nowdays and I do try to say ‘Hey look new art’ on the facebook page, so one of those should suit your needs, bearing in mind that all tumblrs have an RSS you can subscribe to (as does this site! button is to the right)

But yes as I said, my brain is all thunk out for now as I type this. I hope you had a FANTASTIC WEEKEND and I hope you have a FANTASTIC WEEK because you are all BEAUTIFUL WONDERFUL PEOPLE for sticking with me this far.

But seriously, this moment has been coming for a while. I wasn’t very subtle with it so you may have (you probably did) anticipate it. And then monday is the actual 100th comic! However the celebratory guest week starts the week after. WHICH MEANS you have just over a week left for your guest submissions! I’ve had 3 so far, would be great to have at least 5!

Half Term

THIS PAGE/STRIP/WHATEVER. GUH. Trying to plan out exactly how it would work was a pain. HOWEVER I am really pleased with how it HAS turned out. Okay? Okay.

We’re now firmly in the second half of the chapter! 3 weeks of it left, and that means 3 weeks left for your submissions for the 100th comic BONANZA. I don’t know if that’s what I’ll actually call it, but it’s a fun word.

And finally, I’ve started drawing the collaboration! Admittedly I’m only 3 pages in, and they were some of the simplest ones, but you have to start somewhere!
